Is It Worth The Leap?

Confessions of the Naked Blogger series.

Once again, naked can mean different things. If however you prefer to imagine physical nakedness -- I suggest editing your imagination and adding someone else's body and face.

"I quit"  That was my declaration of independence.

So was it worth it giving up work and the position you had?

My well meaning officemates would ask  "I hope you're happy.."

To that I answer I am and yes it's worth it. By worth it I understand that what they really meant was -- was it worth giving up my  paycheck for the pursuit of building my business, designing the life I want, getting wealthy in every sense of the word.

Uh..YES.

I spent almost half of  my life commuting to work. The fare and food expenses alone ate up a big chunk of my salary. Then the taxes.

I'm not saying that this lifestyle is for everyone. That depends really. On what matter's most for you.
Do you know?

I realized that for me it was personal freedom and financial freedom.

Success and wealth comes with a price.

Question to ask is --- are you willing to pay the price?

Right now I'm learning to make money work for me. If you have ever read Rich dad poor dad, you would know what I mean.

"If you’re the kind of person who has no guts, you just give up every time life pushes you. If you’re that kind of person, you’ll live all your life playing it safe, doing the right things, saving yourself for something that never happens. Then, you die a boring old man."
